Sensorisk Verden is pleased to present a glimpse of audio from the forceful yet tedious performance 'Arbejdet er det der adskiller os fra dyrene' by Tobias Kirstein & Claus Haxholm. In May 2014 the duo performed the piece at the ACTS Festival on Roskilde Samtidmuseum. The piece consisted of several layers of work, from moving 4 tons of limestone to blasting out white noise over the public courtyard of the museum. Modes of creating that conjured something material yet not visible, like inner sculptures of lactic acid, from these monotonous actions.
