Story Of Love - Cheap Imitation's first full-length vinyl - released on the duo's own label ‘Vips & Vaps’. With rocking space echo vocals, an old Casiotone synthesizer and "kraut-phaser", the band builds its peculiar, dubby pop-punk sound. Each of the ten songs on the album were recorded live as one takes in the duo's rehearsal space in Gothenburg.
Cheap Imitation is Ann-Charlotte Rugfelt and Anders Olofson. They have been making music together since 2010.
Cheap Imitation are active in the Swedish underground music scene centered in Gothenburg. The band has released three albums on cassette, one single on vinyl and a number of digital releases.
