Vincent Dallas (Dries Beernaert) presents us with 2 pieces of free-form chaos, dense and turbulent. Translating roughly to 'Walking Through the Forest of my Mind', the album title attaches a note of introspection otherwise undetected, yet offered as a helpful guide post. There is a very pure freedom and joy to the quality of Vincent Dallas recordings and performances. While the sound is manic, there is no sense that there is any loss of control or grappling. Vincent Dallas wields the energy of noise, always in the moment, always at one with the flow. This is the sound of catharsis.
